Henrietta Marcetti Obituary

Henrietta Marcetti, 87, of Richmond, MI passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, October 26, 2023 in Valparaiso, IN after a brief illness. She was born to the late Henry and Agnes Giannangeli on December 18, 1935, in Belair OH, moving to Detroit as a child. She graduated from Cass Tech High School where she met Ronald Marcetti, whom she married on September 8, 1956. They spent 55 beautiful years together before his passing in 2011. Henrietta was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, always putting her family before all else. She enjoyed watching her beloved Detroit Lions, making homemade pasta, going out to eat with friends and family, and playing golf 2-3 times per week, which she did until 2022. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jeffrey Huth of Indiana; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Patricia of Florida; granddaughters, Nicole and Sarah Huth; brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Colleen Giannangeli; and sister, Theresa Korbein. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald and her brother Richard. The family invites you to celebrate Henrietta's life Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond.
