Donald Pierce Obituary
Mr. Pierce was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Flaherty. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired from the Air National Guard. He also was retired from Brandenburg Telephone Company and had worked at Fisher Auto Parts in Radcliff. Donnie was also a proud member of AA having been sober for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William T. and Katherine Pierce.
He is survived by his wife, Annie Pierce of Flaherty; one son, William Pierce; and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
The funeral for Mr. Pierce is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove with the Rev. Jeff Hopper officiating. A private burial will be held at North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
