Pietro Signorello Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Pietro Signorello, peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born in Tripoli, Libya, Pietro immigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life. He was the son of the late Leopoldo and Sebastiana, and was predeceased by his loving wife, Lucia, beloved sister and brother-in-law, Vincenza and Giuseppe Serrantino, and his brother Salvatore Signorello.

He is survived by his son, Paul, of Cromwell; his daughter and son-in-law, Nella and Blair Quasnitschka, of Fort Mill, SC; and his cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Malena, AJ, Maddox, and Jagger. He also leaves behind his brother, Mario Signorello, and wife Lina Forte of Melbourne, Australia; his sister-in-law, Gaetana (Vassallo) Signorello of Rocky Hill; as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, commare and compare.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Kimberly Hall Nursing Home in Windsor, CT and Hartford HealthCare at Home for their compassionate care of Pietro, as well as to the friends and family who surrounded Pietro with love in his final days. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11a.m. at St. James Church, St. Josephine Bakhita Parish, 767 Elm St. Rocky Hill. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Family and friends are invited to the Giuliano-Sagarino Funeral Home at BROOKLAWN on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 4-6p.m.
