Hattie May Ancrum

December 20, 1932 - September 1, 2024

Hattie Ancrum, daughter of John and Bessie (Hudson) Gray, granddaughter of Rose Doctor, passed away September 1, 2024. Hattie was born in Stamford, CT, educated in the Stamford Public System, and having attended the University of Connecticut, Hattie moved to Virginia in 1985 where she was self-employed, working for and with some of the finest people in Connecticut and Virginia.

Hattie leaves behind many great memories of family, friends, travel and cars. She loved traveling, riding in her convertible at night when unable to sleep and gardening. She also enjoyed sewing, painting, singing and playing piano.

"Please do not be sad about my dying; I had a wonderful life and was blessed with loving people throughout my life."
