Blair Sala Obituary
CLARKSVILLE - Blair Joseph Sala, 47 of Clarksville, went to be with God on January 16, 2024.
Born January 17, 1976, in Albany, N.Y., to Joseph and Diane Sala of Clarksville.
Blair attended Voorheesville High School and earned his B.S. in Economics at the University of Oregon. He was employed for the last 20 years with Cognia, where he was employed as a Content Specialist. Blair loved his weekly outings to the car races with his good friend, Chris Wilkes. Blair regularly attended the Clarksville Community Church. He enjoyed watching sports and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Oregon Ducks. GO DUCKS!
He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Diane Sala; sisters, Staci DeLorenzo (Mark) of Voorheesville and Jill Greaux (Scott) Glenmont; four nieces and nephews; several cousins; and his beautiful cat, Maggie.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
Donations in his name may be made to Clarksville Community Church, P.O. Box F, Clarksville N.Y. 12041.

First, my deepest condolences to his family and close friends.
I worked with Blair at Cognia in Albany for a few years and we got a long very well and you could sense his warmth and his kind demeanor, as well as a sense of humor. I am saddened at his passing. He will be remembered kindly, I think, by many who met him, even briefly.

Mr. & Mrs. Sala, Staci & Jill, I was so sad to hear the sudden passing of Blair. It still shocking to read and comprehend. He had a heart of gold and was always a good friend. We had many memories together as kids skate boarding, riding dirt bikes and 4 wheelers. We'd exchange messages every now in then in the last 20 plus years since I moved away from NY. My sincere condolences and thoughts go out to you,,your family and close friends.

Knew Blair since high school. Will miss seeing him at Alie´s and Chris´s. He and Chris had a very special friendship. But I believe Blair Will always be there for Chris.
