Craig Wakefield Obituary
ALBANY - Craig Wakefield, 76, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024, after a short illness.
Craig was a son, brother, uncle, husband, father, and friend to many. After graduating from Stonehill College in 1969, Craig worked for the N.Y.S. Empire State Development for 33 years, until his retirement, in 2002.
The family expresses their gratitude to the Albany City EMTs and Albany Medical Center staff for their response and subsequent care before he passed away.
A Memorial Service will be planned in the spring of 2024.

Craig and I were roommates at Stonehill College Our families vacationed together for years. I have tried to reconnect with him without luck I´m very sorry to hear about his passing. I´d be grateful if someone would give me contact information for Jennifer and Theresa.

Double-dated with Craig and Ruth fir our senior prom.
I remember he was driving a brand new Mustang and Lyn and I were squeezed into he small back seat.

I haven't seen Craig in many years, but I still consider him one of my dearest friends. I have thought of him often and I pray that he has now found peace.
