ROTTERDAM - Thomas J Crudo, 69, of Rotterdam, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.
Tom was born on January 15, 1955, to Ellen (Murphy) Crudo and Joe Crudo, Sr. in Troy, N.Y. Tom grew up in Watervliet, N.Y., and was a 1973 graduate of Catholic High.
At a very young age, Tom played bass in bands with his father and realized this was to be his lifelong career. He was a talented musician who was respected by all of us that were lucky enough to have him as a bandmate. Though music was his passion, he also had a successful career in business management. Tom retired from the Albany County Correctional Facility in 2018.
Tom is survived by his wife, Colleen (Pratt); his siblings, Tony (Kathy) Crudo and Joe (Karen) Crudo; his sisters-in-law, Noreen Pratt, Mary Ann (Randy) Stark and Patty (Bob Meneely) Fusco; nieces and nephews, Tony Crudo, Jr., Stephanie (Jay) Bouchey, Holly (Zach) Gleason, Ellie (Lauren) Monteith, Mike (Leah) Fusco, Chris (Becky) Stark, Ashley (Paolo) Venturiello, Nick (Marissa) Stark, Luke (Ally) Stark; and several great-nieces-and-nephews. Tom also leaves behind several cousins that meant the world to him.
To honor Tom's wishes, services will be private.
