I knew Bill as we both volunteered in the Fire Service of Bethlehem, NY. Our 2 Fire Departments (Elsmere & Slingerlands) worked and socialized regularly as the comradery was greatly enjoyed. Bill worked on many fire service issues especially at the Town Fire Officers level and was a Fire Commissioner for Slingerlands FD. His work and support were always appreciated, RIP.
