Brother, it was a memorable and awesome experience coaching Lobos when they were first starting out. I thought I was loud, but you definitely had me beat. Didn't get to throw a line out there with you (fishing), but we did get to help those young boys reach their potential in football and in life. God Bless you Brother.

Rick was a great guy. Our family met him in our local football league Lobos. He coached with my husband and our sons played on the team. He will be missed. I'm praying for the family

I met Rick in the mid 90s when I was in a pool league up in Yucca Valley. We were on the same team for a few years and the league always ended by playing in Las Vegas. Those were some of the best times I have had with his amazing man. He was a kind man, a great pool player and always made me laugh. Rest in peace, my friend.

Rick and I had much in common. The love of fishing is one. Although we never were able to fish together he was able to take my grandchildren. My granddaughter actually caught one on that occasion. It was an honor to know him and trade one of his catches for a couple dozen eggs. Rest easy, Rick. See you soon.

Oh Rick, so many wonderful memories were created during bike runs and gatherings with friends. You brought laughter and joy, always keeping us in stitches. Your heart overflowed with love for family and friends, and there was nothing you wouldn't do to help someone in need. I remember when we first met; I was new to California, living in Joshua Tree. Though that time feels distant, it remains fresh in my heart. Your pain is no more, and your love and legacy will shine on through your children. Stories will be told, and memories shared. We will see each other again one day. Ride free, shine bright. Until we meet again, my friend. You will be missed but never forgotten.
