Patricia Kratochvil Obituary

Patricia B. Kratochvil, 82, formerly of Jeannette, died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024, in Juniper Village, Monroeville. She was born Sept. 1, 1942, in Jeannette a daughter of the late Bernard and Lorna (Kemerer) Brecht. Prior to retirement she was employed by Giant Eagle and she was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Jeannette. She is survived by her husband, George Kratochvil; a son, Paul Kratochvil (Jennifer); a daughter, Tammy Poirier (Scott); three grandchildren, Sarah (Jake), Aidan and Alex (Lindsey); two great-grandchildren Remy and Alina; siblings, Chuck Brecht (Denise), Robin Brecht (Darlene), Terry Brecht, Carol Freuhstorfer (Jim), Janice McGivern (Bill), Linda Brecht and Denise Brecht; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A funeral liturgy will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Job Foote officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. To send online condolences, visit www.mason-gelder.com.
