Brent Stoll Obituary

Brent Alan Stoll, 65, of Hernando, Fla., died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023. Brent was born March 16, 1958, in Chicago, Ill., the only child of the late Paul and Virginia (Sodders) Stoll. He came to Hernando in 2013 from Ligonier. Brent is survived by his former spouse, Debra Stoll, and their six children, Charlotte Levis (Daniel), Andrew Stoll (Amber Craig), Lucas Stoll (Melissa Benavides), Angeline Stoll, Susannah Stoll and Peter Stoll (Sarah Ross); and many grandchildren; along with his aunt, Betty (Stoll); and uncle, Max Lautzenheiser. Brent was a MasterChef who specialized in French and Italian cuisine. He was the proud owner of two businesses in his lifetime, the Fairfield Grille, a family diner in Ligonier, and Brent A. Stoll Painting, a business operated in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Matthews, N.C. His children will never forget his infamous catch-phrase, "I'm going for a ride." The communities he's been a part of will remember him for his welcoming and jovial spirit and being a fun-gi. He will forever be known for his delectable tiramisu and uncanny resemblance to Santa Claus. A private burial will be held at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery in Gibsonia, Pa. Our family´s condolences. Brent was very welcoming to my family member. Even though he didn´t know much about sports, he tried to make a connection which we did through his work in Ligonier. May he rest in peace.
