Denise Anderson Obituary

Denise Ann Bell Anderson, 72, of New Kensington, died Saturday, April 19, 2025, in her home. She was born in New Kensington on Feb. 4, 1953, to the late Malcolm and Helen Miller Bell. After graduating from Fox Chapel High School, she attended the Mason Felix beauty school and worked as a licensed cosmetologist. She also worked as a residential caregiver for ARC in Greensburg. Denise was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in New Kensington, where she was an adult leader of the Cub Scouts. She was also a member of the St. Mary Christian Mothers, the adult Polish choir, taught CCD, and was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Anderson of Ford City, Dana L. Lustic of New Kensington, and Lisa M. Anderson of Arnold; grandchildren, Andrew and Kevin Brunner, Zachary, Christopher and Sierra Rakes, and Colton Lustic, Troy David Lower Jr. and Olivia Elofsky, TJ, and Ann Marie Killman; sisters, Diane (David) Anderson of Ford City and Donna Page of Springdale; and brother, John Bell of New Kensington. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Anderson; and brother, Thomas Bell. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at THE RUSIEWICZ OF ARNOLD FUNERAL HOME, 1400 Fifth Ave. at 14th St., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2025.
