H. McGrane Obituary

H. Darlene (Miller) McGrane, 76, of Cheswick, passed away Aug. 19, 2025. She was born Nov. 25, 1948, and has been a longtime resident of our area. Darlene ("Mimi") went to school to be a medical assistant and worked in the medical field. She also had many other jobs throughout her life. Her grandkids were the love of her life, as well as her great-grandchildren, and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving her are her husband of 60 years, John J. McGrane Jr.; daughters, Kim (Karl) Narad Sr. and Sherri (James) Pertinaci; son, Richard McGrane; five grandchildren, James D. (Katlyn) Pertinaci, Christina (Danny) Eyth, Amanda Pertinaci, Karl (Jen) Narad Jr., and Karissa Narad; and seven great-grandchildren, Anna Cannon, Silas Cannon, Zeke McFadden, Daniel Eyth, Eli Eyth, Jacob Eyth, R.J. Pertinac, and Freya Pertinacii; as well as many cousins. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, in CHARLES B. JARVIE SPRINGDALE FUNERAL HOME INC., 801 Pittsburgh St., where services will commence at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23, with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Pittsburgh. www.jarviefuneralhome.com
