Mary Ruth Kincy, daughter of George W. and Henrietta Mitchell Coleman, was born on Wednesday, April 2, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri. She departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, at the age of 84 years 7 months and 6 days.
Mary Ruth worked at Gossard Garment Factory and later at AJ’s Fashion Find in Malden, she was of the Baptist Faith.
On May 17, 1962 in Malden, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Zane Autrey Kincy, he survives.
Her other survivors include son, Darren Kincy and wife, Kim of Campbell; daughter, Kelly Whitfield and husband, Stacy of Bragg City, Missouri; grandchildren, Jalen Walls, Ethan Kincy, Jaren Walls, Jonathan Whitfield, Addylynn Whitfield, Bre Miller (Dalton), Paige Young, Colton Young and Braden Young; two sisters, Janet McElwrath of Kennett and Billie Ann Swift and husband, Bill of Campbell; brother, Gary Coleman of Campbell; step-sister, Nancy Privett and husband, Roger, of Kennett and Paulette Whaley of Holcomb; step-brother, Terry MaGouirk and wife, Sheila of Holcomb and life long friend, Bonnie Logan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Radin; brother, Eugene Coleman and step-mother, Dorothy “Dot” Coleman.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Missouri. Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 with Reverend Randy Vaughn officiating. Burial following in Rosewood Cemetery in Malden, Missouri.
Landess Funeral Home and Crematory in Malden is in charge of the arrangements.

So sorry for your loss. Mary Ruth and I were friends from being neighbors and working together at Gossard. We shared rides to work. She was a wonderful lady. The last time I saw her was at Home Depot, we had a fun visit catching up on our lives. May God comfort you in your sorrow.
