Mrs. Joan Ann Taylor age 89 of Heartbeat Lane Blairsville passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday January 8,2025 at her home following an extended illness. Mrs. Taylor was born on November 28,1935 in Milwaukee, WI., the daughter of the late Walter Albert Krause and the late Sarah Jane Alvey Krause. Joan loved her church, working the flea markets, gardening, yard work and being outdoors. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother and more. She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Taylor in 2007, her parents, one brother, Roscoe W. Krause and three sisters, Sandra C. Johnson, Sarah B. Gilbert and Karen S. Allimang. Mrs. Taylor was a member of All Saints Lutheran Church.
Surviving Mrs. Taylor are one son and daughter in law, David Mark and Mary Conner of Nicholson, GA., four daughters, Charlotte Ann Fesler of Branford, FL., Carole Jean Harris, Victoria Lin Patton and Valerie Conner Loudermilk all of Blairsville, thirteen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday 14, 2025 at 2:30 pm at the Mountain View Chapel with Pastor David Wesche officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Nicholas Taylor, David Fesler, Walter Sayers, Jerimiah Whitworth, KC Fesler and Kevin Conner. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Larry Gilbert. Interment will follow in the Meadow View Cemetery where she will rest with her beloved husband John. Flowers are accepted or if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church in Mrs. Taylor’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home Monday 6-8:00 pm.
