Brenda Jean Clough
September 23, 1958 - September 16, 2024
Benton City, Washington - In loving memory of our mother, Brenda Clough who passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2024.
Brenda was born on September 23, 1958, to Charles and Jean Clough in Great Falls, Montana. After graduating from Great Falls High in 1977 she later went to Great Falls Vocational School for bookkeeping. She was a hard worker her whole life, she held many different jobs ranging from receptionists, carpentry, and even working with electricians in the shop. She joined the laborers Union in September 2004, which she was still working for up until her passing. In 1970 she met Steve Ray who at the time was just the little brother of her best friend Jamie. As time passed and they both grew up they started dating in 1986 and they both fell in love and didn't part until Steve's passing in 2020. She lived half her life in Montana and the rest in Benton City Washington where she and the love of her life put a lot of sweat and tears into their property, they purchased in 2000 that they enjoyed with their 3 daughters.
She enjoyed camping, trips to the beach and spending time with her family. She always had a love of cats which every one of them meant a lot to her. She was very excited to see her kids and grandkids play sports and other activities that they enjoyed. In her earlier days she spent time water skiing, playing softball, shooting pool, bowling, and cake decorating. When traveling she chose quality time with friends and family on cruises, including one with her love around the islands of Hawaii. And most recently explored the country of Norway for the second time.
Brenda was a loving mother of Alicia, Ashley, & Ariel & grandmother to Phillip and Parker. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our mother was a kind, caring and giving person who always put the needs of her family before her own. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge in her life with courage and dignity. Our mother was a source of inspiration to us all and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
Growing up, our mother Brenda was always there for all who called on her. Her husband and three girls were her whole world, who she gave her entire heart to. She was a woman that instilled the importance of family, hard work and doing what is right. Our mother was a true role model who we will always look up to.
Mother, you will always be in our hearts, and we will never forget you. We love you so much. Rest in peace.
