Richard Bailey Obituary

Richard Lee Bailey, 71, of Aurora, Co went to his Eternal Home Tuesday, September, 16, 2025, after a long battle with COPD and congestive heart failure. He died in the comfort of his own home, previously owned by his parents. 

He was born April 26, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Richard and Ruth Bailey. He graduated from Aurora Central High School and made a career as Master Injection Molding Technician at Samsonite until it closed the Denver factory and he worked at InterTech Plastics until he retired.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Masat, nephew Joe Masat, grandson, Ryan Bailey, two nieces Cassie and Julie Masat, and Donna Ables, the mother of his son Richard Adam Bailey who preceded him in death.

He is also preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ruth Bailey, brother-in-law Robert Masat, and Sparky and Shasta, his beloved dogs.

A viewing will be held, Friday, October 3, 2025 from 6-7pm, at Newcomer East Metro Chapel. A memorial may be held at Newcomer at a later date.
