Tristan La Rell Locust, 38, of Tahlequah, died on Sept. 25, 2024. He was born on Nov. 13, 1985, to Schuyler Scarborough and Joyce Locust.
Mr. Locust was raised in Vian. He loved to ride horses, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and played baseball in his youth.
He is survived by his father, Schuyler Scarborough; children, Tayden Locust, Rionna Locust, Skyelar Locust, Darion Locust and Jackson Locust; aunts, Carlotta Scarborough, Charmaine Scarborough, Serena Hammer-Glass and Sandra Locust; uncles, Jason Scarborough and wife Jennifer, Larry Hammer, Levi Locust, Sam Locust and Jimmy Locust; the mother of Tayden and Skyelar, Owentavia Wright; the mother of Rionna, Darion and Jackson, Karri Locust; step-children, Grace Hooper, Abigayle Hooper and Tyler Hooper; two step-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Elizabeth Scarborough, Betty Hammer and Josh Locust; mother, Joyce Locust; and son, Deavion Wright.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024, at Kester Family Funeral Service of Stilwell.
