My deepest sympathy to Sue and the family. I worked for Steve while he was director of retired pay call center. We became friends on the first day. He knew my name before I signed in. I thought, wow, he knows his employees. Found out he played softball with my son, Tim. Talking to Tim, found me to be working for him. A great boss and friend. Keep an eye on my grandson, Timmy. He passed on February 21st age 23. Tim's son. What a shock! Rest in peace Steve. Sue you are in my thoughts.

Steve and I played a ton of softball together while stationed at the Marine Corps Kansas City Finance Center in the mid 80s and he was a hell of a pitcher and a great friend.

My deepest sympathy to Sue and your family. Steve was one of a kind. Once you met Steve you were friends for life. I look back on the many years that Keith and I knew Steve and how our paths have crossed since the 1970s. I'm thankful that you, Steve, and I got together for a meal when I was visiting Las Vegas in 2020. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Steve will be missed all that knew him.

Steve was one of my beat friends in life in the 70s. Praying for his family during this difficult time. Steve served our country well and we all should be thankful.
