KAY MARTELL Obituary

CLEARFIELD - Kay D. Martell, 83, of Clearfield, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.

Born June 5, 1941 in Clearfield, the daughter of Secil and Mary (Schaub) Skinner.

She was a graduate of Clearfield Area High School, Class of 1959.

Mrs. Martell was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, Clearfield and also participated in TOPS. She had a strong faith and love of family.

Kay is survived by her husband, Richard J. Martell, whom she married July 28, 1990; three children, Michael Fry and his wife Marivel of Leesburg, Va., James S. Fry of West Decatur and Sandra K. Dandrea and her husband John of Odenton, Md.; four step-children, Karen McBride and her husband Christopher of Frenchville, Jim Martell, Jr., of South Carolina, Janeene Ruffner of Clearfield and Kim Ruffner of DuBois; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Linda Skinner of Arizona; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Robert Skinner and Secil Skinner, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God on Monday, Sept. 16, 2024 at 3 p.m. with Pastor Sam Smeal officiating.

Interment wlll be in Bradford Cemetery.

Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 1 p.m. until the hour of services.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 6449 Clearfield Woodland Hwy., Clearfield, PA 16830.
