Mary Ruth Hooker Robinson
Entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Visitation will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. until time of funeral 11 a.m. at Horton Funeral Service, 600 Kennedy Street NW, Washington, DC 20011. Interment immediately following funeral services at Chesapeake Highland Memorial Gardens, 3270 Broomes Island Rd., Port Republic, MD 20676.

You ran a fierce race Mary. You never stopped, you won your battle my sister. You left a true legacy´s for those of us who knew you. You see the battle was never yours it was the GOD´s. God said, my Daughter I will take up where you left off and I will complete your battle sister in the name of Mary Hooker Robinson. Rest our Sister knowing your battle has been won.

Mary was always a woman of honor. She stood tall through all of life's challenges. She fearlessly loved her family and advocated for her granddaughter to have the most positive future. I am proud to have known Mary. Blessings to her family.

I remember Mary expressing her love for her family and the Lord. She brought both of her sons to church and she outwardly proclaimed her love for the Lord during the service. God Bless you all.
