CHARLES GLEN ALLEN Charles (Charlie) Glen Allen of Red Oak, Texas, passed away on August 22, 2023. He was born in Waxahachie October 24, 1951, to Mr. and Mrs. Herschel Doolen Allen. He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Jean Milam Allen and father, Herschel Doolen Allen. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Brenda Lee Allen, son Christopher James Allen, daughter-in-law Kathryn, granddaughter Elizabeth, brother Mickey Dan Allen, wife Sheri, brother Herschel Dwayne Allen, wife Elda, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Charles lived life to the fullest as a competitive water skier, airplane pilot, rescue scuba diver, volunteer on the Red Oak Fire Department, councilman on the Red Oak City Council, owned his own business, Allen Communications, vice president of a savings and loan, critical care paramedic and professional golf instructor. Anyone who spent very much time around Charles walked away with a story to tell. He will truly be missed.
