Elvira Anneliese (Eitner) McDaniel "Rose" In the early morning of August 29th, 2025, Elvira passed away at home in Montgomery, Alabama at the age of ninety. She was born July 6, 1935, to Martha Anna Frieda (Sellin) and Gustav Eitner in Berlin, Germany. She came to America as a war bride and moved around the country, spending most of her life in Prattville, Alabama, and Blue Eye Missouri Elvira is survived by her two daughters, Virginia Bailey of Emmett, ID; Janette (James Cole) Kuivinen of Montgomery, AL; two sons, Andrew (Linda) McDaniel of Osceola, MO; and Kenneth Ralph (Thereassa) McDaniel of Tallassee, AL; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Melvin of Blue Eye, MO; Lakesha Bailey of Branson, MO; Robert Coleman of San Antonio, TX; Rosemary (Charles) Stringham of Deatsville, AL; Cameron (Margaret Ann) Cole of Elmore, AL; Karl (Daniel) McDaniel of Hoover, AL; Kyle (Jenn) McDaniel of Anchorage, AK; Katherine (Tiana) McDaniel of Birmingham, AL; and Koen McDaniel of Madison, AL; ten great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Josie, Michael, Bailey, Owen, Jacob, Elliott, Catalina, Alexis, and Wyatt; and one great-great-grandchild, Dexter. Elvira was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Kurt Eitner and Rudolf Eitner and sister Irmgard Eitner of Germany, and her son-in-law, Junior Bailey. There will be a Celebration of Life at Prattville Memorial Chapel on September 3rd, 2025, with visitation starting at 12pm and service starting at 1pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Elvira will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on September 7th, 2025, in Prattville Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
