Maureen was such a bright light everywhere she went. I first met her at Dr. Jennings office. I went there for several years up until He retired. My kids were just babies back then and she would watch them for me while I got adjusted. We always always chitter chatted afterwards, interrupted only by more clients or the phone. After that we would share a friendly wave as I passed her while she was out walking. I was thrilled when she started working at Martins Market as I could then see her once again on a regular basis. Even if her check out lines was the longest, I would always wait in her line. On the day of her retirement I snapped a photo of her at her register. I posted it to Facebook encourage our community to go wish her well. Almost 300 people left a kind message for her. She impacted so many lives. She was one who could turn anyone's frown upside down. I will miss her dearly. Until we reunite in Heaven. Well done Maureen

Kathy and I met Maureen when she was working at Pizza-N-More in East Wenatchee about 30 years ago. Our family ate there most Sundays after church for several years. Then when she and Dave got married we still saw them around Cashmere and talked occasionally. She worked for Dr. Keith Henning and one year I was there about 50 times so I saw her a lot. We always talked about family, joked and kidded...a lot too! We saw her often when she worked for Martin's Market until she retired. We were so sad to hear of her passing. Such a nice person!
