Helen Rowe Obituary

Helen Mae Rowe, age 90 of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne with her family by her side.
She was born on May 21, 1934 in Auburn to Fred and Goldie (Gerig) Kruse.
Helen married Utah Rowe on May 12, 1972 in Auburn, he preceded her in death on July 26, 2011.
She worked as a hairdresser out of her home for 42 years, first in Leo and then in Auburn. She and Utah were also beekeepers for several years. Helen was a member of the County Line Church of God. She was also a member of the Jackson Township Home Demonstration Club and the Northeast Indiana Beekeepers Association.
Helen enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved nature, especially growing flowers and watching birds. She also loved playing cards, especially Rummy. Most of all, Helen loved spending time with her family, she especially loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include:
Daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Gary Bollier of Winfield, Illinois.
Daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Rob Harris of Fort Wayne.
Five grandchildren and their spouses, Matt Bollier (Chris) of Iowa City, Iowa, Michelle Ferguson (Paul) of Columbus, Indiana, Tim Bollier (Krista) of Georgia, Megan Mobley (Steve) of Iowa City, Iowa and Nick Harris of Grabill.
18 great grandchildren.
Several loving nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Utah Rowe; two brothers, Russell Kruse and Harold Kruse and one sister, Doris Moreland.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Additional visitation will take place one hour prior to the service Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the County Line Church of God, 7716 North County Line Road East South of Auburn with Pastor Stu Kruse and Pastor Jon Moody Officiating.
Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn following the service.
Memorial donations may be made in Helen's memory to County Line Church of God, 7716 North County Line Road East South, Auburn, Indiana 46706 and Park Place Community Church (in c/o St Joe Community Church), 2900 North Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46805.
