Richard Bullard Obituary

We are horribly saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Richard Allen Bullard, 80, of Evanston, WY on January 8th, 2025 at Lone Peak Hospital.
Born on February 15, 1944 in Upland, CA to Allen Lawrence Bullard and Virgie Mell Spillers. Richard graduated from Colton Union High School, in California, and went on to complete an Associates Degree in Drafting and Design from the College of San Mateo. He served as a Tech Sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam War era working on B-52 bombers. He spent his professional life as an Aircraft Mechanic with United Airlines.
Richard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Flora Dodge Bullard. They shared four children; Lora Bullard Rimpel (Thomas Rimpel), Terri Willingham (Brent Willingham), Craig Bullard (Linda Bullard), and Christian Bullard. He is loved and cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and an extensive community of various loved ones. He was also an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Richard was a generous and patient man. He was deeply passionate about tinkering on automobiles, wood working, and doting on his wife. His passion for pranks brought both exasperation and joy to those around him. He had a penchant for storytelling and his laugh would fill the room after the punchline.
His life was celebrated on January 10th, 2025 at Premier Funeral Services in Midvale, UT with a intimate gathering of close family.
His creativity, compassion, and wit will leave a lasting impact on all that knew him.
