Sandra Keefer Obituary

Sandra Y. Keefer, (Sandy) 84, of Haverhill and formerly of Allentown, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Penacook Place in Haverhill surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Allentown, PA, on October 31, 1940, daughter of the late Alvin and Evelyn (Heimbach) Roth. Sandy was educated in the Emmaus School System. She was employed as a Housekeeper and a Psychiatric Sitter at Allentown Hospital for many years. In her later years, Sandy and her Husband Neil moved down to Holiday FL. and eventually retired there. She made many new friends in Holiday and her retirement was filled with enjoyment. Sandy enjoyed painting ceramics, playing bingo, going to the casino, scratching lottery tickets and gardening. Sandy also volunteered at both the Grace United Church of Christ in Allentown PA and the Holiday United Church of Christ in Holiday FL. Sandy sang in the church choir. She was a valued and dedicated member of both churches for many years. Sandy enjoyed spending time and going out to dinner with her church friends. But mostly, Sandy enjoyed spending time with her family, whether it was by sitting around the table snacking on her favorite snacks, or going on vacation with them. Sandy is predeceased by her husband Neil E. Keefer, and her sister Shirley Stoudt. She is survived by her two children, her son, Michael Keefer of Bethlehem, PA, and his Husband Wayne Fulper and her daughter Dionne Keefer and her wife Hiedi Keefer of Haverhill. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and her four sister-in-laws and brother in law all from PA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, April 12, from 2-4 PM in the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. The family will offer words of remembrance and spiritual services beginning at 3:30. Interment will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Allentown, PA.
