Fernando Perez Obituary

Fernando Perez, 74, of Clermont, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025. Born in Puerto Rico, Fernando lived a life of kindness, humor, and dedication to others. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served his country with honor and carried that same sense of duty and respect throughout his life. He was rarely seen without his SFC retired veteran hat, a humble reflection of his service and commitment.

Fernando was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great friend, and neighbor. He was known for his big heart, compassionate spirit, and vibrant sense of humor. He had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, and his laughter could brighten even the hardest of days.

A loyal friend and a deeply devoted family man, Fernando cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, especially his children and grandchildren, who were the greatest joy of his life. He found his greatest happiness in family gatherings, shared meals, and simple moments together.

He was also a lifelong New York Yankees fan who never missed watching a game and always cheered for his team with the same enthusiasm and loyalty he showed in every aspect of his life. Whether talking sports, sharing a story, or lending a helping hand, Fernando brought warmth and good humor to every interaction.

Fernando was deeply respected and admired as a neighbor and friend. Always ready with a kind word, a quick joke, or a helping hand, Fernando embodied what it means to be a good man and a good neighbor. His generosity of spirit touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter that will never be forgotten.

Fernando Perez will be remembered as a man of integrity, compassion, and lighthearted charm. He was a veteran, a gentleman, and a devoted family man whose memory will continue to inspire all who knew him.

May he rest in peace, proudly wearing his retired veteran hat and watching the Yankees from above.
