Cody worked for Vitalant in Phoenix AZ as a Purchasing Manager.
He enjoyed going to meat raffles with his dad, where he perfected his own "meat raffle dance".
He spent many hours talking baseball, especially about the Cubs, and going to Packer and baseball games with Austin. Cody loved anything sports, the Packers, the Cubs, curling and golfing. Cody played Varsity baseball in high school starting as a sophomore. He was an integral part in the team winning the 2006 State Championship.

His many, many special friends with whom he enjoyed game nights. Whenever they were together, he was the life of the party. Cody was my manager at Vitalant and I have had the great pleasure of working with him for almost 2 years. We worked closely together and we had a friendship of feeling valued, honored and supported. I could come to him with any work question or issue and he would easily resolve. He was so incredibly smart, I would often say how are you so smart?! I always felt very supported by him and he taught me so much. I enjoyed being silly and breaking his dry sense of humor to see him smile and hear him laugh.
I miss him dearly as I know we all do here at Vitalant. He was a special part of our lives.
He wasn't just a coworker/manager, he was my friend. I miss my friend so much.
Im sorry for the heartbreak this has caused to all that loved him. Sending love and support.

I´m so sorry for your loss. Cody always joked that I was his adopted sister that wasn´t wanted (my maiden name is Schmidt). He was a wonderful person. Always had a smile, and always made me laugh.
