BELLINGHAM - Rolande A. (Cartier) Dubois, 102, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully at home on

Monday, October 21, 2024 with loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife of the late Robert D. Dubois. She is the loving mother of Rita A. Boisse and her husband, Raymond of Harrisville, RI, Rachel A.M. Thifault of Bellingham, MA, and Rosemarie Kraunelis and her husband, Keith of Woonsocket, RI. She leaves her cherished 6 grandchildren Tonya DeMarco and her husband Jay of NC, Jessica Demers and her husband, Chris of Burrillville, RI, Andrea McGovern and her husband, Gregg of Blackstone, MA, James C. Thifault and his wife, Jennifer of Warwick, RI, Bruce H. Snell III and his wife, Christine of Lodi, NJ, Andrew A. Snell of Woonsocket, RI, and 7 great-grandchildren, Caiden Demers, Hailee Demers, Abigail McGovern, Madeline McGovern, Natalia Thifault, Madison Snell, Grayson Snell, Louis Vega and Ciara Vega.

Rolande was born in Woonsocket, RI on May 15, 1922, the daughter of the late Donat and Rosa (Gregoire) Cartier, and the sister of Jeannemarie Levreault of Woonsocket, RI, and the late Claire Trotttier, Gerard Cartier, Therese Trottier, Estelle Valois, George Cartier and Lawrence Cartier. She leaves many loving nieces and nephews.

She was a resident of Bellingham formerly of Blackstone and Woonsocket. She worked as a sewer at Finkelstein and a twister at Al Lac. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and member of the Ladies of St. Ann Sodality.

She was a talented seamstress, an avid bingo player and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 9th with visiting time from 9Am to 10AM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at Divine Mercy Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA.
