Clinton Taylor Obituary

MR. CLINTON "BUMPER" TAYLOR, 47 of Sissonville died on October 8, 2023. Bumper worked for Philips Respironics for 9 years and was named the top salesman in all North America. He and his partners started Appalachian Medical in 2017. He was appointed by Governor Justice to the WV Board of Respiratory. He was a 1994 graduate of Sissonville High School and was the Vice President of the Sissonville Athletic Boosters. He graduated as a Respiratory Therapist from the University of Charleston.
He loved to laugh and keep his friends happy. If he loved you, you knew it and he loved you with his whole heart. He, Chrissy, Travis, and Tenley had the best group of friends anyone could ever have in this life.
He is survived by his loving and adoring wife, Christina "Chrissy" Taylor, his two children Travis and Tenley, his best friend was his brother Andy (wife Jessica), parents Clayton and Melody "Tootie" Taylor, and in-laws Sheila and Jeff Randolph and Chuck Redman. He had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins and special friends that loved him dearly.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday October 11, 2023, at Sissonville High School with the funeral service immediately afterward. His uncle, Reverend David Taylor, will be officiating.
The family requests that everyone wear red and black for Sissonville colors or blue and gold for WVU colors.
