Margaret Garrett Obituary
NORMAL - Margaret Rediger Garrett passed into the hands of our Lord, November 5, 2024.
Margaret will be greatly missed by her children, Donald Garrett II, Evelyn (Cody) Staker, and John Matthew Garrett (Vlada); grandchildren, Callie, Aidan, Jaela and Tate Staker; one brother, John (Ada) Rediger, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her loving husband, Don; sister, Theresa May; and parents, Pat and Eva Rediger.
Margaret worked at Casey's Market Basket and Casey's Garden Shop for many years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Church.
Special thank you to Mary Krutke and Mary Hunt for their patience, love, and many prayers.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington with Rev. Steven Loftus officiating. Interment will be held at Hudson Township Cemetery, Hudson following the service. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., at the church on Friday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Feeding America, Wounded Warriors, or Easter Seals.
Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.

So sorry to see where Margaret has passed. I grew up across the street from her when we were just little girls. She was always so kind, friendly and you could just tell she loved people. In her later years I would see her occasionally at Casey's Garden Shop and we always had a good visit. I'm grateful to have known her, especially in my years growing up.

Loved Maggie! So many dear memories from Casey's.
Chocolate Chip cookies, fruit baskets and lots fun working together. She sure miss her husband so glad they are in heaven together. Thinking of Maggie family. Hugs
